This is good general purpose knowledge about Ethos, but especially important for anyone with intention to submit material to the magazine. For those who wish to submit, please reade and understand this fully.
* Ethos does not represent the boylove community. The content of Ethos is not intended to rpresent the views or opinions of any staff members, or of Ethos itself or those who own or manage it. ANy views or opinions expressed in the magazine are those of the individual author or commentator, and in no way signify any public stance of Ethos, or endorsement by Ethos.
* Ethos staff may or may not agree with — or endorse — views presented by the author(s) of each piece of content, and have no connection or stance, pro or con , toward any opinions or attitudes expressed by that author or commentator.
* Modern Boylover Magazine and Barrilete have their own disclaimers. To view their disclaimers, please open up an issue of their magazine. The disclaimer will be found in the first three pages.
* When submitting, the author agrees to give Ethos a copy of the submission, upon which Ethos is given full rights and control over the copy given to us, and the author retains full control and rights over their copy.
— Submissions can be withdrawn at any time, provided that both of these conditions
are met:
1) The submission is not being used in the upcoming issue of Ethos, and
2) The upcoming issue of Ethos is not being published within 14 days of the
withdrawal request date.
Content authors are the only ones who can request withdrawal of their
content, and can additionally reequest to know whether we plan on using
their content in the upcoming issue of Ethos.
* We reserve the right to choose whether to include or exclude content submitted for any reason, at the discretion of those in charge of content management at the time of publication.
* Content submitted will be edited for presentability purposes. Spelling, grammar, structure, and word usage, will be adjusted and some sections may or may not be either moved or removed. This is at the discretion of those in charge of content management at the time of editing and proofreading.
* Our use of images does not signify or otherwise indicate endoresement of or affiliation with Ethos by thir respective authors, nor does it signify or otherwise indicate endoresement of or affiliation with that author by Ethos. Images are used in accordance with the license found with the image at the time of usage.
* Links to external sites do not signify or otherwise indicate endorsement of or affiliation with that site by Ethos, nor signify or otherwise indicate endorsement of or affiliation with Ethos by that site. Ethos makes no warranties or guarantees on the contents of external sites.
